Jared and I have had a lot of down time lately to just be. A few weeks ago (weekends especially) we were do this, do that... busy! Because of the down time I have been making a lot of cakes. Of course I had to make some for my class (clown cupcakes, final flower bouquet cake), however I also have made two others for other people. I made a Halloween cake for a fellow Navy Marine Corps Relief Society volunteer that was having a party and I just finished one tonight for Navy Relief's director (for his birthday).
On a side note, Jared and I are very excited to have visitors for Thanksgiving. My sister, Krysten, and her husband, Rob, are driving down to spend time with us and to go to Disney World. We are very excited to have other people partake in all of our food because we have had Thanksgiving alone for the last 2 years. We are also expecting our friend Dave to come over and spend Thanksgiving with us since he is not going home to his family. We don't mind being a surrogate (spelling?) family for him! :)
We also get 17 days off for Christmas this year!! WOOO HOOOO!

ooo, yummy cakes! Yes I know I'm bad at updating our blog! But nothing that interesting happens in our lives lately so it's hard to find something to write about. Jeff is about 2-3 weeks away with finishing phase 1 though and that is when they find out about the E2/C2 selection so I'll write more soon I promise! Oh and Jeff is suppose to get pictures from a guy who took pictures on one of his form flights so I'll put those up too!
