One down, lots more to go.
Since Jared left I have been keeping myself very busy. Having people over, volunteering, playing Bunco, hanging out with Lisa and the gang, checking books out at the library, grocery shopping... my week has been a blur. My schedule doesn't let up this coming week either! I haven't really given myself time to decompress and accept the situation, I haven't given myself me time yet. I think I really need to do that though, maybe after the chores I need to complete tomorrow.
This was the day Jared left. As you can see, that is a fake smile. It was probably the worst day emotionally I have ever had. My best friend is leaving and I have to just let him go. Duty Calls.
Lisa and the gang invited me to picnic with them at Bowman Bay (well, actually I told Lisa I was coming along and she didn't say no). I decided I would show Jared that I loved him using nature. I am really getting into this "in touch with the environment" thing. Granola perhaps? No.

At least he has a grin on his face.
